Idea The ideal place to chill?

I'm trying to plan out a nice TO night with a friend and was thinking along the lines of Viva Lounge or Milestone Restaurant...

Can anyone suggest a nice chill out place to go to this weekend or maybe name a fav spot where one can just hang and talk?

Any suggestions TOTAs?

Thnx

if you want to go and have a few drinks in a sort of chillen atomsphere and still hear some good tunes....therapy lounge on richmond is pretty cool.

FAVE chillout place (no alcohol tho) = Oasis Restaurant and Juice Bar at Warden and Lawrence...SHISHA RULES!!!! (don't know if you've tried these Arabian water-smoke pipes)...try the strawberry-flavoured tobacco...

My place, you cook?

So a mainstreamy restaurant? I figured that wouldn't be your bag with your refined palates.

I love Paeez on College W. There's a DJ playing a downtempo, groovy sort of house, and the martinis are some of the best in the city.

The couches are super comfy and there are hookahs to smoke from too.

Milestones on Richmond has great food. You could always try the honest lawyer in richmond hill as well.

If its more then just a "friend" and you wanna dance with them or something, you might wanna try one of those bar/club combos, like Ultra, Schmooze, or Indian Motorcycle as well.

Have fun wherever you end up

7-west on 7 Charles Street West.

Really good food at a decent price, dim candlelit ambience, and groovy deep house.

What more could you want?...

I hear lobby on Bloor St. W. is really good....there SO MANY different places in Yorkville wehre you can chill too

Tilt Lounge - there is no food there, but the martinis are great.

Blur on Bloor - awesome atmosphere.

The Green Room - good chill atmosphere, the service is slow but who cares when you are chillin'.

Actually now that Stereo Princess mentioned Tilt lounge I thought of Wild Indigo - same are just about a block away maybe - best martinis ever!...I strongly recomend the Supermodel and the Beach boy *droooooools*

Then head across the street to Alto Basso for some sweet Afrogrooves bootyshaking - they have food as well.
