South Park Conservatives?

LINK

Saw something about this on Scarborough Country (yes, I'll admit I watched it). It seems to me that the show certainly against being PC, but they rip on hippies and rainforests about as much as Christianity and the Terry Schiavo case. I personally find all of it hilarious. Is this really a show with a political agenda?

I share many similar values to what is presented in South Park, which may be why I love the show. Trey Parker has stated that he is a card carrying Libertarian, and Matt Stone is Jewish, but not sure where he stands politically. They are by no means conservatives, though.

There agenda: from what it seems like with the show and with World Police: Team America, they take pride in what they hold as common sense. I believe they see liberals and conservatives as blind and irrational at times. I think they want to encourage Americans to simply take a peak out of their anuses once in a while and use some good, well thought out judgement of scenerios, rather than either blindly following once side or another. This comes up in the Giant Douche, Terd Sandwhich Episode where Stan, representation of Trey most likely, doesn't want to vote for either, because they are both awful. I'm sure you all know about libertarian views, so I won't get into the details, but I do believe the shows tries to promote these views in addition to trying to get people away from blindly following either the left or right.

I vote for Britney Spears singing buckass naked. Less so these days now that she's pregnant though.

Ah, a fellow Chicagoan? I'm in Lincoln Park, often walking there from Soundbar & Vision at 5 am on weekends Going to any shows in May?

Nice, I'm actually from the North Suburbs but am going to school in Rhode Island right now. My last day of finals is the 11 I think, and I hope to be back by the 14th for Holden. On a somewhat unrelated matter, I have asked this in the Chicago forum before, but do you think I can get into Soundbar and/or vision with a fake?
