Pole Folder - Zero Gold…Out Now

Pole Folders critically acclaimed album is out now on Bedrock Records.
Featuring artists Kirsty Hawkshaw, Sandra Ferretti & Shelly Harland
Zero Gold is not simply a dance album. It is a carefully crafted work, grounded in timeless musical concepts, stellar production and genuinely felt artistic presence. It acknowledges its influences without parodying them and is ultimately an expression of the artist’s endeavor played out through the use of modern technologies and musical techniques.

Not too bad, thanks mate! I spent about 5 hours practising today....addictive stuff. I only really started learning to mix about two weeks ago, and it's good fun. My decks just sat in my room over the summer doing nothing. I think i spent too much time buying records, and not enough time actually starting to learn. Bought my 100th record the other day

hahahah yea nice, im a little further ahead. Ive basically been goin at it since sept. I think I have around 400 records now . Its fun when your into it, but can be sooo annoying. I still trainweck like a mofo, then again I try to do 1-2 minute transitions so that could be my problem.

Hopefully I get a lot of practice this summer .

I made a cd the other day with 10 tracks or so, came out good except for the 3 transitions that I always seem to mess up... Oh well, I had a good 3 tracks that I couldn't tell where they were mixing so its all good.

It's all about the quick 30-45 second transitions, PVD style (kinda like Tiesto, but without the trainwrecking)

^ ^

Well, that's what i think sounds good, anyway.

yea it works that way for trance. Prog house Is dif though. And It sounds soo sexy when you actually get them spot on for a minute or two without touching the decks. Just dance yo ass off for a bit, extreamly sexual.

Definately great album! Inner Turmoil is my favourite one next to Salvation On Slavery Sins. What a piece of proggy sounds...

This album is absolutely brilliant. I could listen to this in 10 years and it would be just as good as it is today. I highly recommend this to anyone.

it will be a landmark album....so amazing. I've had it on repeat, ever since they sent me a copy, I'd buy it anyway if I had not got a copy, it is just that good.

i agree. reminds me of the Marble Madness cover for the apple iie when the games came in sleeves like vinyls.

Starts out a bit slow for me, but by the time I get to "Sacred to Lose" I'm addicted.

I just love electric guitars in EDM, and combined with those Pole Folder basslines, Apollo Vibes style, this is pure bliss.

Outstanding piece of music.

Hasn't it been a while since Polefolder released anything?

Btw, what happened to Nightdriver, was it ever released?

Posted by maxstradamus on Apr-29-2005 12:29:

Absolutely genius
I can't get enough of it.
Go out and buy it! Very highly recommended.

heard some stuff off the album at the release party last saturday.. sounded very promising indeed.. can't wait to get my hands on it

Simply beautiful album, one of the best artist albums I've heard in recent memory.

Inner Turmoil is probably my favorite track (the guitar work is gorgeous!) - but it's all fantatic.

Also - lots of EXTREMELY sexy tracks, definitely something to set the mood
