Kjell & Nightshiver - Amber Sun (Original Mix) [Full 128kbps]

Hello all!

It has been a very long time since i finished a song and promoted here.

This latest track is a collaboration between Nightshiver (Me, Australia) and Kjell yvind Eide (Norway)

It is melodic trance with a summer sound, chilly melodies and a
driving beat.

Make sure to only use high-quality sounds in tracks. I can hear some flurry hihats in this one.. Funky start, I quite like it. Congas are a bit strange though.. Track gets good as lead-melody is introduced. Very good infact. Nice FX's in the break. Hmm... All the synths so far has been too thin, imo. This is a good melody, but you've made it way too random. It just pops up and down on different notes that fits in. Not a good way to do it - cause it doesn't get very catchy. Still, I like the melody. But as I said, the tracks seems too thin... Sort of unenergic and lack of power. I dunno, but I think the mastering isn't top. Try to add more high freqs to spice up the sound.

Overall, I enjoyed listening. 7/10.

I kinda agree with Alex-sumthing about the hi-hats. But I don't really mind, it's all good imo.

The melody, introduced at about 4:00, doesn't make much sense at first, can't explain why though.

Other than that it's a great track, it got a nice toch about it ;D, this will definately go to the tracklist with a big T ;D
It's excactly my kind of music too, how nice of you. :P

Amarezzo: Glad you like

PutBoy: Good to hear its your thing. Which tracklist is it going to by the way and do you mean by "T" ?

To the rest of the people if you haven't listened yet, take a listen. This song took a long time to make and i feel it should be worth your 10 minutes or so.

All in all I would say this is a pretty fine track! All seems very well balanced and laid out in a nicely structured tune.

I have to agree with Alex about the main melody though, it's hard to get really grasped by anything that feels so random...

Cheers,
Wim

Damn, now that's what I'm talkin about...this is the essence of trance melody right here...I actually like that randomness, although it might be a tad overwhelming with so many different chord progressions, it's still makes sense...beautiful melody...

* although I would have loved to hear the leads in your break with more layered leads with a nice delayed effect.
* i really like your intro and the build that it creates to the break
* if it were me, I would keep all those leads only in the break, then make it simpler sounding for the main tune...
* love the strings in the break

Great job man!
