Actually my dear Taha !!

Dawn of the dead ( the original one ) was more of a criticism of materialist society than an horror movie

As far as 28 days later goes, i felt that it was more about what all of Danny boyle's movies are all about, how will mankind fail. And i actually think that it was pretty funny that those who are there to "protect" earth will eventually kill it !

topic wise - I loved 28 days later. its one of my favorites in the horror departement. on the other hand, dawn of the dead was so so IMO

Land of the Dead was a pretty decent movie, but it lacked character development like Dawn of the Dead (both the original and the 2004 remake). The ending was quite disappointing.
