Oh yeah, the CIA had the final report on the matter:

This is, of course, in addition to the various other government reports that showed no WMDs exist in Iraq.

It also puts to rest any doubts about WMDs possibly being shipped off to Syria.

Now let's keep in mind that the Presidential commission report (commissioned by Rummy, no less) released back on March 31 stated that they did not find any evidence that the White House leaned on intelligence gatherers to push their case for war in Iraq.

The trouble is, that was not the intent of that particular commission, nor did they ever do any investigation into the matter of Rumsfeld's Office of Special Plans, nor did they do any investigation of Cheney's numerous visits to the CIA intelligence gatherers. They just thought it was appropriate to throw out that little nugget without any fucking merit to support it.

Now my Kansas Senator Roberts, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee had PROMISED an investigation into whether or not the White House and Feith's OSP leaned and manipulated intelligence. Indeed, the Senate's Commission Report released back last summer on the matter was just part 1, with part 2 being an investigation of the White House's involvement.

But oh so strangely, Roberts is still sitting on that. Or rather, he deferred part 2 to this Spring Commission, who didn't bother ONE FUCKING BIT on examining this matter further. So Roberts wipes his hands clean without doing a damn thing about part 2.
