Amused Moose & Club = future UKTA Meetup?

Hey all,

I'm just posting about a comedy club I went to on Saturday in Soho called "Amused Moose" - what a great night! started drinking at 4pm and stopped at 1am to catch the last train from Liverpool Street back to Broxbourne

Well, I was going to say, its really great there, the comedians were hilarious, would anyone like to arrange to go there as some sort of TA Meetup in the future? after that finishes at 10/10.30pm then we can go on to a club or something....?

Let me know if anyone is up for that later in the year.

I dont thnk a ukta meetup of any scale will ever happen in soho .. its hardly a central location for most of us ..

The only people who MIGHT actually meet up are the ones actually in London. The rest can never be arsed or never have time. But hey, the ones in London might be enough for all I know.

No to london

For Me, I went to london and I was staggered at the costs of drinks.
Its ok if u work in london earning a huge wage, but alot of us dont.

Id Rather have a place like Leeds Or Sheffield, so its accessable for everyone.

Or just every so often have a mixture of places, ie Leeds Newcastle London or whatever.

Up for a global gathering meetup tho hopefully

So much harder than it sounds.

Almost no mobile phone coverage means if you dont meet up before going in, its almost certain you wont find anybody.

Last year i rememebr texting dj mdma i think, in the hope of maybe meeting some TA's. However by the time your message gets recieved its pointless.

heh, i remeber his response about 5 hrs later, when i recieved it, was something like i'm stood at the left entrance to the gods tent with a T shirt saying something or other. Cant remember now, all i remember was it was one of those trendy tag lines that supposed to be much more clever than it actually is
