MEEE , roadtrip its seems like fun, but what is this talk of $60 tickets being bought ( in other thread)? are these for the afterparties?

Posted by kabelicious on May-05-2005 11:39:

For Bleu, if you want to get a pass to all three shows that weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun nightgs) you pay $60. Other afterparties vary between $15-35 per show. Each event, if you click the link I left, should have their price listed there.

too bad that 60$ ticket is only for markus BBB and Junkie XL, not that those aren't 3 worthy shows....but the sasha letdown. I NEED SOME ANSWERS AS TO WHY!!

So what does everybody think about the $25/weekend or $10/day charge for the festival? Do you think that many people will still go?

Posted by Silverfox211 on May-09-2005 16:30:

$24 for the whole weekend is a steal if you ask me!

I'll pay it - I want this festival to keep happening so I'm game. In the future, there should be no charge. But you never know in business....

This is going to make for an interesting DEMF.....I'm glad that they were able to do it. I know that a lot of my friends that didn't even like the music would come to just hang out, now I don't think they will, which will suck.

It will be interesting to see. I'm still very excited though!

I like how in Kevin's interviews while he was trying to get the ability to charge he swore to everyone that it would be "no more than $5".

quote:

I hope that if we have to charge 5 dollars, which won't be more than that

He also said that it will be free again next year. Well, he lied about it not being more than $5, so I guess that means it will cost next year too. THANKS KEVIN!

Posted by Atari Addict on May-10-2005 03:29:

stop complaining, i'm betting there are things going on you can't comprehend...and Kevin has little control over many of them he dosen't personaly get to decide EVERYTHING. and hey it's better than nothing isn't it?
