I don't like either.

Posted by Dickie-T on May-02-2005 17:00:

i am a huge fan of both Armin and Tijs, but both cd's i didn't like...

- Track selection of ISOS 4 is too jazzy
- ASOT 2005 is too proggie

I like uplifting stuff and melodies, both cd's are lacking on those terrains

I can already see this converting into a 15 page "Tie$to sucks" and "ASOT is gay" thread

Posted by sandstorm03 on May-02-2005 17:01:

ASOT 2005 american release cuts tracks off and is what 50 minutes a cd?

that says something. Defend that one will smith

Totally agree, ASOT 2005 just didn't do it for me, bored me to death and the CD having only 13 tracks really put me off. ASOT 2004 was way better . The tracklist of ISOS4 looks good to me, so I can't wait to get my hands on it.. not to mention my hands on the vinyl sampler, anyone know when it'll be out?

puts them both to shame...

quite sad since paul was probably bored while mixing it .

cd 1 was a little too progressive... is tiesto changing his style ?

Posted by yahoo on May-02-2005 18:14:

My vote goes out to ISOS 4, no doubt

Dont get me wrong, ASOT 2005 is defo not bad, but it just hasnt got that -feeling to it. And whereas cd1 of ASOT is a beauty, cd2 is not really the trance im looking for with tracks like massive motion

Yeah, I know, that's why I put "released" in quotation marks. Anyway, I'm, uh, getting it right now.

both releases werent too bad. No comments beyond that.

overall i think Armins ASOT 2005 was good. I enjoy the 1st cd better than the second. I havent heard Tiestos ISOS 4 yet, so i cant say anything about it. From the looks of it... Tiesto and Armin should stick to producing and stop realesing mix CDs
