I don't know how this happened... but this was like, the work of God moving my hand on the mouse :S

I just opened Reason this morning and I don't exactly remember how it started or how I chose this song, but I just remember tweaking with devices and coming up with this... a seriously trippy day (mind you I watched the sunrise listening to some trance and fell on my face to sleep yesterday)! But anyways, here's what I have done so far (nothing mastered or constructed properly): http://digital-menace.com/ug/purplze.mp3

I really really need critique or this song will never change since it's always different when another person hears it. Me and my friend went through 10 basslines until we both found it right, so lay it all on me :> thanks...

Updated it alot in the past day or something; there is now a second lead that crashes into the first one, and spiked some delay and stuff -- same link as above, so... give me the words

I dig your melody here and the sounds. Very draemy.

But the production quality must be better, and you need to make a whole tune out of this.

Nice set up though.

toughen up the beat i would say first.

'tis good so far ;D It really sounds like the act of god ;D well, maybe just a little. Can't give you any tips though, I've just recently started out producing tracks.

bass line is really good, melody/instrumentation is dreamy and nice.
I like the punch in that kick, and the 303 sounding synth in the background. Nice job, get a killer main melody on that and you have yourself an amazing track. good start.

I added a new pad that reaches high notes, added new percussion around 55 seconds, changed around and fixed the bassline sound, and in general touched it up... can I get more feedback cause this is really helping it become something, thanks! (http://digital-menace.com/ug/purplze.mp3)
