My whole point of this tread was to get the opinions of those in our LOCAL forum......not from people I don't converse with on a daily basis. But thanks for your worthless input.

don't rush. release date for North America is June 21.
Love this CD. I think one of the best from all ISOS.
But my little finger keeps clicking on "Tiesto in Disney" to play. hahaha.
And yes, i think NYTA deserves to have its own thread about this CD. The whole TA can discuss whatever they want and there will be plenty of opinions but NYC is a local community. I really want to know what people think about ISOS4 because from what i see NY doesn't like Tiesto as much as it likes PVD. So...

This cd is average compared to the previous cds in the ISOS series. There are some decent tracks on this double disc but it doesnt hold a candle to Isos 2 or 3 in my opinion.Cd one wasn't the all out classic trance that Isos has been known for but it flowed much better than the trancier disc 2.Disc 2 is too much of a bomb peak time disc for an ISOS set.Don't Get me wrong that most of the tracks on here are great they just dont fit well with what ISOS has been known for...

Highlights for me:

1) Jase From Outta Space Ft. Claire Van Der Boom - Do What U Want (Max Graham Afterhours In Montreal Mix)< A Great Track That definitely brings forth that vibe that the ISOS series has been known for

2) Wighnomy Bros. - Wurz + Blosse
3) Coco and Noche - La Villa (Great Track)

Lowlights:

1) Mixing - There is absolutely No EXCUSE for bad mixing on a cd considering it SHOULD be well planned out and rehearsed.

2) Matthew Dekay - Bad (This Track is awesome but has no business being on this cd)

3) Flow On Disc 2 is just terrible

The Old Tiesto needs to come back =(

Kind of what I wrote already in the other thread.

I like the first half of CD 1, it resembles the ISOS theme of the past with an 2005 update. I especially like track 6 Coco & Villa - La Noche. But right after that it begins the Markus-esque proggy sound tracks, including many tracks I've heard Markus spin. When I hear Arcadia I want to puke because I hate that song and it's on this comp, ASOT 2005, and Markus' Miami mix. That's awesome errr not! But overall I like it. The transitions are extremely weak though as expected from the transiton master.

But the weakest transition ever is track 1 - 2 on CD2. It's extremely abrupt, like there is no transition at all. The first few songs are pretty good but then it jumps into some filler tracks that get boring. I like that last track a lot though.

But it's embarrassing for Tiesto to make a compilation with such bad transitions. Some of the songs are quite nice and new to me which made me happy but it doesn't quite hold up the reputation of ISOS 1-2, which are two of my favorite trance albums of all-time.

Even When Cds are badly mixed if they still have flow it still works out fine...Oakenfolds' Resident 2 Years at Cream Cd is the prime example of this.

True, I love that Oaky mix to death for many years. I think the overall flow is decent but doesn't hold the weight to the previous ISOS which were trance bliss.

I totally agree with you there. The mixing is poor at times but im really enjoying the track selection. Although I do feel that the previous ISOS are better. Still a good buy.
