Looking For Information on the US Dream Act

I have a friend who is in trouble with his citizenship, he would be eligible for the Dream act if it went through. Does anyone have any info on whats happening with this??

Yeah I know lol but:

1. Im lazy
2. I know nothing about politics/laws being passed
3. #2 is because I didnt pay attention at school (damn cds/mp3 players)
