Question about Hard House and Hard Trance

Well, ye you see the question, well actully it's about hard trance aswell, but aaanyway:

Is it just me or does Hard House, Hard Trance sound nearly the same? Same with Trance..

It's just you. When you think hardhouse, think Tony de Vit. When you think hardtrance, think Scot Project (early stuff). Not even remotely similar.

Hardhouse is slightly faster in bassline, and the use of synths is different from hardtrance. Nowadays the line between hardhouse and hardtrance has become smaller.

And for the last time: Scot Project is NOT the embodyment of hardtrance! He wish he was!

hard house is less focused on melodies, genenrally more hoovers n acid stabs, predominantly kicks, bass and percs tho.

hard trance (of the UK variety) has more meldoies n screechy synths.

European hard trance and hard house sound nothing alike. But UK hard trance does indeed sound very similar.
