AC Milan vs PSV

Sorry to all the PSV fans.. you guys deserved the win... Im not a fan of Milan or PSV but the game clearly showed who was the better side today... And that is so typical of Milan to snatch a goal in the last minutes hehehe.. oh well.. Milan v Liverpool in Istambul! go liverpool

Football is not a fair game...

Posted by Jantjeuh on May-04-2005 20:55:

Bleh.. typical Italian luck :/ PSV was clearly the better side over both matches.

Ah well.. Liverpool will own 'em in the finals.

Posted by The_G0dfather on May-04-2005 20:56:

Typical, same way like a week ago in Italy. Scoring non merited winner in extra time. Ambrosinin this time, at leats it wasnt Thomasson again llike a week ago and also some three years before in against Ajax...

They played good / better than PSV for 45mins from an overall 180.
The other 135 they SUCKED and especially this game were run over by PSV.

What a pity

At the end of day, it's not the taking part that counts, it's the winning. Anyone who thinks differently is a loser!!

Yes, but let's face it, Milan played awfully compared to what was expected from them. Even the defence was shaking everywhere (especially on Farfn and Lee's runs). They suceeded thanks to luck and good finishing, but there's not many reasons to be happy with their perfomance.

I know milan were awful, you could almost say they never took part at all, but they won - this is all that counts!!

milan was awful but I LOVE them and they couldn't lose.

FORZA MILAN!!

Milans goal wasnt good finishing, the keeper flapped at it, and should have saved it!

Good game, think Liverpool will be happy if that AC Milan turns out for the final. They had two shots on target.

SEEDORF: 'PSV would have deserved the final'
5/5/2005
EINDHOVEN - Clarence Seedorf is humble enough to admit the merit of the opponents. He said: We played below our usual standard while PSV did really well. To be honest, we have to admit that they would have deserved the final, not us, it is right to be critical, otherwise we look arrogant. On the contrary, we are humble and admit our faults, along with giving credit to the opponents who dominated us. However, we did very well in the previous games against Barcelona, Manchester United and Inter, this may be the reason why we will travel to Instanbul now and this is not a shame. We are emotional, not happy, we lost and would have preferred to go through to the final in another way.'

PIRLO: 'Bad evening but we are happy'
5/4/2005
EINDHOVEN - Andrea Pirlo said: We are living different sensations, it was a bad evening, but we have reached the Champions League final. It was a difficult game, PSV played very well and would have even deserved to go through. We would have preferred to travel to Istanbul in a different way, but we are very happy all the same. Now we expect Juventus, I am relaxed because certain challenges give you stimulation and strength to do well.'

Forza Rosonerri!

We played poorly, but, at the end of the day we're through. To me, the key to our poor performance was Seedorf. No shit, he was PSV's twelth man

Posted by Rhand on May-05-2005 08:56:

As I am a Milan fan I'm very happy to see them goin to the finals, but if I have to be honest, PSV desearved it more... But Milan is goin to the finals and not PSV

Forza Rosonerri!

very well said mate, seedorf was horrible yesterday, he should have been changed during the half time

Posted by The_G0dfather on May-05-2005 11:07:

To me thats more PSV's merit than it is Seedorf's. The way they played totally didnt fit the game of Seedorf nor did it for Kaka, who started to play better near the end when Milan was finally able to keep the ball for more than a minute.

Forza Rossoneri! We played like shit in the 2nd leg but in the first we nailed it. It will be a good match against liverpool and it's difficult to say what will happen. But if AC play like they did against PSV in the 2nd leg, they can go home. Anyways i will still be rooting for them.

Milan didn't do well in 1st leg either. PSV had many chances, but just lacked the finishing touch while Milan was lucky to get 2 chances put away.

Milan back 4 looked really shaky, esp in the flanks. Props to Lee and Park and Farfan for causing so much trouble. (I love it when South Korean boys play well)

That Cocu 2nd goal should be a top 10 goal of CL this season.

And I want to visit Phillips Stadium now. What an atmosphere!

PS: Hiddink pwns Angelotti
