chest Question

anyone ever wax the chest and stomach? if so the first tuime u did it did u break out badly?

im headed to dominican was pondering the idea but i dont wantto break out. any other suggestions and info is welcomed.

i feel like a fag for asking this too but ive never waxed or shaved my chest before and wasnt pondering it till someone brought up the idea. and trust me i dont think a shaving would helpp in my situation so its either wax it or leave it

I don't shave/wax my chest. Think I did my chest a long time ago, with razor, and didn't break out.

Have fun in the DR! I was there three weeks ago. Watch for hustlas!

man what has you shaving ur chesthair anyway?
it doesnt make u swim any faster ya know

I dont got too much hair on my chest but I tried waxing the minute amount of hair a number of years back & did break out some. Dont try Nair nair. I burned the shit outa my chest & balls. I was fucking crying in the shower.

well well well...

no but good question. i don't think breaking out should be a problem...i guess you might be a little red depending on how much hair you got to remove...but i suppose the only reason you would break out would be because of an allergy to the stuff you are using to remove it...

I shaved my stomach last year and got razor burn probably the first 3 weeks, but it eventually goes away. Started shaving my chest now this year and after 2 weeks I still have a little razor burn. So if you're only doing it for the Dominican and have sensitive skin, don't bother.

It's inevitable. The ingrown hairs show out badly on a white chest. But theyll disappear after a week or so.

Are you removing the nipple hair to impress the lovely ladies?

Why not test a little bit and see how that goes? A man with a smooth chest is oh so sexual.

OMG, this thread needs advice from a girl who waxes.

You won't get ZITS from waxing..but you WILL get INGROWN HAIRS. The way to prevent them after waxing is to exfoliate your skin everyday in the shower. I recommened exfoliating gloves. You can buy them cheap at Walmart in the cosmetics section.

A good alternative to waxing is Nair. Just be sure to follow the directions.

oh baby, cope a load of my arse hair! youd love it!

Oh, and for God's sake Eric, if you're going to get it waxed, get it done professionally at a salon/esthetician. It'll cost more than doing it yourself...but they're professionals for a reason. Plus it's usually smokin' babes that work at those places.

You naired your balls? Ouch!

i agree with jenny, definitely go to a professional, and keep the skin exfoliated. don't get it done the day before you leave because you need to allow some time for the redness to go away. and it'll probably hurt like a bitch.

also you might want to pick up some of this. it works great for preventing ingrown hairs.

and it will turn your chest into a bikini zone!

Posted by blank on May-04-2005 22:18:

im just taking the hair off of my chest with tweezers.lol its also a good thing to do when ur bored.

that's hot if that means that ladays will be rubbing their bikini's all over eric's zone if you know what i mean

You must be ree-hee-heeeeally bored.

Posted by lcid on May-04-2005 22:23:

personally i think chest hair is sexy and manly. i don't wanna be rubbing up against a chest that feels like it belongs to a 13 year old boy. even worse is rubbing up against a chest with stubble!

but if you got back hair, definitely get that shit waxed.

If you get it done profesionally then it shouldn't be an issue. But if you're going to do it on your own that's a whole different story, if so, when done waxing make sure to rub aloe extract lotion on the waxed area once dry pat it over with baby powder and you should be as smooth as a babies bottom irritation free aslong as the wax wasn't overheated

Aloe lotion yes, baby powder no. It clogs the pores, increasing the chances of getting ingrown hairs.

Ingrown hairs only happen because the pores are indeed clogged/blocked...which is why exfoliation is key!

Holy crap, Jon.

Personally I would do it at home... seriously do men go to professional salons? Imagin your sitting there waiting to get your chest waxed with a big bunch of women getting their bikini lines done... hmmm that dosent sound so bad

so are you saying if i wax and then exfoliate, i wont get ingrown hairs n all that shit?

i actually was thinkin about doing this too... my dads a hair bastard so in turn, i am too.. this weekend im going to see my girlfriend for the first time in months (she lives in NC) and i wanna be all smooth n shit for her.

i've shaved for a long time but if i shave in the morning, its stubly by the evening so its pointless and it hurts to do everyday... plus i would get ingrown hairs too.
