fans of the harder beats should definitely check out Pet Duo, they are a married couple that often play on 4+ dex, some pounding shiiiate.. lot's of buzz about them in europe where they are getting booked more frequently.

ya they blew everyone away at I Love Techno last year.. heard the set!

I know the site is portuguese, but on the left column of the main page under 'djs' it's a great place for sets.. they profile about 50 djs including Canadians Patrick DSP & Preach (only 1 Preach set though, for his Brazilian tour last year)

nope.. they most likely won't be in Montreal anytime soon.

If you are a headlining techno dj and your name is not Carl, Sven, Chris, Adam, Ben, Marco, Mauro, Barbara or Dave maybe.. odds of probably getting booked at a montreal club event are pretty slim.
(stoked for Siegling again though!)

but you know, the promoters nowadays actually do very little to 'educate' their patrons and expose them to what is fresh/hot..
the argument is that they won't book someone who won't draw, but yet it seems like a one way street here.

It's got to start somewhere Marcus007, so by all means.. spread the word!
