GREEN M&M's ONLY MOTHER****** I SAID GREEN! AND NONE OF THE ONES WHERE THE M IS RUBBED OFF!

Too bad lesser known (real) djs have to bring records (vinyl) to whatever gig they can find, and play on whatever shit is available.

True-fuckin-dat!

i dont think any of his requests are crazy. most big clubs have one of those mixers. at least he gave other options besides just one mixer.

and most clubs have the cdj's. if they dont, they can rent them for $40/each.

other then that he requested a folding table and lights. big deal.

hehe, interesting stuff.

Didn't they forgot the 20 willing groupies in his limosine afterwards?

For real. Pretty reasonable requests to me.

It's pretty funny that the rider has all those pics and diagrams. But hey, it's Sasha and he's certainly paid his dues as a DJ, so good for him. Besides those requirements seem decently fair to me.

And Joost, the request for those 20 groupies are on the OTHER side of that rider.

I doubt they need to be put on the rider. Groupies go pretty much without saying.

Very interesting, I wonder why he prefers the A&H Xone:62 over the 92. The light shit seems a little picky, as well as the monitor situation. Avalon Boston has monitors hanging from the ceiling right above the DJ and they work just fine. Oh well good for him, he has earned it. I heard James Zabiela also has a similar (but less demanding) gear request form.

Posted by Aiwendil on May-05-2005 23:06:

no cupholder? aww f$#ck that.

Posted by NiteMer on May-05-2005 23:19:

That's pretty demanding, but he's in a position to be that demanding. I also understand his wanting for monitors, spaced properly, and controlled by him. At Ultra I couldn't control my monitors at all, and they were blaring in my fucking ear. By the time I was done, my head was ringing, and I really wanted to get out of there.

I don't think its a big deal.

I agree. If he wants to be able to perform at his peak, then a little adjustments like that isn't a big deal.

Like Sasha never had to jump through those hoops...at least his fucking name doesnt jack ticket prices up x3 like Tiesto for a trainwrecking session of shitty trance anthems we've heard 100000 times before......

My brother used to be the sound guy @ Eleven50 in Atlanta. When Zab came he actually brought his own extra cdj and Redsound sampler. He didn't need anything Btw, Zab is one of the coolest djs you'll meet

Heh not that unreasonable at all though i'm surprised he doesn't want a urei mixer as it took him forever for him to track down his own.

You never know. Maybe he has to play in some farmland club w/o any good material. Club owner should fly some nice girls in then

Tsssh, what is the guy thinking? He's just a DJ......
I'm sorry, I think it's a little bit ridiculous. It says a lot about Sasha, I must say. When people won't record his set he starts throwing around decks, when his record keeps on skipping he throws them into the crowd and hurt girls with it.

And yes, the guy is one of the best dj's ever created by mankind, one that contributed to the history of EDM a lot, but....still....I think it's ridiculous.

I've never heard the "throwing around decks" story Enlighten me!
