actually its out of 2400 (3 800 part tests)

Yes the SATS are important but a couple things...

- You can take them more than once

- Scores totally depend on where u want to go undergrad...If you wish for the Ivy League then by all mean "rip-away"....

- Do not discount the power of a good state school (cost wise). I mean there are many RICH doctors, lawyers, MBA students who got straight A's from state universities....and amny low-paid TAs who slacked off at Yale or Princeton

Honestly the new-breeds dont know how well they have it inregards to the SAT...in other words it's SOOOO EASY NOW if you put just a little effort into it

The tests from 6 years ago and before were SO MUCH HARDER.

hats why Mensa actually takes into account a LOWER score for older SAT tests for their qualification requirements.

i think it would be fun to take it again now. I never took the sats, just teh acts. Of curse I've also taken the GRE that was some shiat. the written portion on that looked like this.
