Crash - The most racist mainstream movie?

Just saw Crash! Amazing movie but I was wondering how the reactions were in your theatre, if you saw it that is. People seemed really offended where i was watching it, some people even left because of it. I had no problem with it because of how the movie turned out...won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it...anyways, feel free to discuss!

people were laughing and no one left the theatre, but it wasn't full anyways.

whats to be shocked about? its a movie, and its NOT promoting racism.
