Trouble with Winamp
So im having trouble with winamp and when i try to uninstall it deletes all the files except winamp.exe it says it cannot delete it cause of some thing called 'cyclic redundancy check' wtf is that? now i cant get rid of that file, cant uninstall it and cant open winamp..what do i do?
Have you tried re-installing winamp and overwrite the existing directory? when I was extracting stuff from my CD that was data a while back, an .mp3 couldnt be retrieved from the CD, giving me that error. In any case, try to re-install it.
Try deleting it through Command Prompt/MS-DOS.
CRC is an error checking algorithim. it looks like the program was uninstalled incorrectly. try the above method of installing and overwriting the directory and then uninstalling once again.
it wont let me install it again, i tried that again..
how do u delete it doing the ms-dos thing? step by step?
stop whining.
