djx2 - May Trance Part 1

Here is Part 1 to my May mixes. Starts off with some Progressive Trance slowly builds to some peak time Trance and finishes off with one of my favourite vocal tunes. PM me your address for a CD stating "Part 1 mix" and i'll send them out in a day or two. Feedback always welcome and hope you enjoy!!

It's pretty good but your april house mix 2 (the disco-funk one) is by far my favourite - i listen to it like crazy on my iPod.

I've listened to a bunch of ur mixes by now, I personally think you're better at spinning house but both trance & house mixes ALWAYS have good track-choices

I seem to be getting more bookings playing House as well, but i prefer to play Trance, completely different feeling when you play out Trance. Glad you like them and i'll be doing another House one on June!!

Liked it as always! May have started out a little slow...but maybe that's what made me like the later tracks so much with a great buildup like that! Great mixing, thanks man ~ Can't wait for the next.

Was a few days ago I listened to it, can't remember if i disliked the last song....will have to listen through again to remind myself!

*edit: looking at the title of it ...yeah I remember. For some reason I don't like that tune too much (5 million miles (or something to that effect)) Everything else was great though, thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback, the idea was for this to be more of a warm up mix. Hense the reason its pretty progressive to start with. As for 5 Millions Miles i think its an awesome track, one of my all time favourites!!

Part 2 will be basically Trance with a hint of Techno!!

Could have swore id replied about the mix in here already but alas i cant find it.

was a very nice mix.... took its time to get going but liked the latter part more as it got more energetic.

mixing was fairly good.

will keep an eye out for more of your mixes

Thanks for the feedback mate! Like i said the the idea at the start of the mix was for it be fairly progressive and build. As i haven't really played any progressive tunes few a couple of months!!

From what I remember of the mix, it was good :-)

The last mix into 5 Million Miles was dodgy, as you have to cue the track up 1 bar earlier than normal - and you missed a beat of it! But other than that, the rest was fine!

Appreciate the feedback and glad you liked it. I didn't realise you had to do that with 5 Million Miles i hadn't played it for atleast a year and when i listened back to the mix i thought it didn't quite sound right!! Thanks for clearing it!!

I used it in my mix that won me a competition back in January ;-)
