Poem

Alright, so I got my hands on Poem, Delerium's album.
The last track is Silence, but what remix/edit?
Tracklist that I got with the album says it's "Album Version Edit".
Discogs says it's "Airscape Remix".
Amazon says it's "Airscape Remix Edit".
Who to belive and what remix/edit is it actually?
Btw, the duration of it is 4:05.

Thanks.

Edit: Another question... In Sublime by Ferry Corsten, are The Thrillseekers co-producers or featuring?

...

Anyone?

The Radio Edit of the Airscape version is 3.49. Surely you'd know if it was the Airscape version though, just be listening to it?

Posted by Gauss on May-11-2005 19:13:

Yeah, but how can I know is it just Airscape Remix or Airscape Remix Edit for album (like album version of it)?

Posted by SYSTEM-J on May-11-2005 19:15:

Who cares? It isn't the Radio Edit I'm familiar with, and I extremely doubt the full length Airscape mix is only fifteen seconds longer than the edit. It's just a cut of the Airscape mix, can't you leave it at that?

Posted by Gauss on May-11-2005 19:18:

What, (full) Airscape Remix is 4:20?

Posted by SYSTEM-J on May-11-2005 19:19:

Read my post again. It won't be the full cut, and neither is it the edit.

Posted by Gauss on May-11-2005 19:24:

Right, who cares. I'll just leave it at Airscape Remix.

Posted by GrimReaper on May-11-2005 20:02:

So it's a 4:05 edit of Airscape remix (full length 8:38) which is a trance version and not an 4:05 edit of the original downtempo version (full length 6:34)? I think there might be either mislabeling on some releases of Poem or then the Airscape remix really has been edited slightly differently for that release. Dunno.

Posted by Gauss on May-11-2005 21:03:

Hmm... Well, the 4:05 version that I have is kinda slow, it really isn't like Airscape Remix...
Bleh, me is confused.

The chances are that your album cover is right, and the Internet sources are talking about a different release of the album.

delerium-silence__unreleased_mix

Maybe that's it

I'll just put (Edit).

Can anyone answer my other question?
(In Sublime by Ferry Corsten, are The Thrillseekers co-producers or featuring?)

Then it's just Album Edit of Delerium's original version just like your album cover says.

And for Sublime, The Thrillseekers (aka Steve Helstrip) is the co-producer of the track.

Your post is confusing, i take it you DLed this?

ok for starters 'Silence' is not on the main Poem album CD itself but it is on the bonus disc.

It is also the FIRST track on every version released of the bonus disc.

North American Version (2000)

01. Silence (featuring Sarah McLachlan, remixed by Airscape) 8.40
02. Flowers Become Screens (featuring Kristy Thirsk, remixed by Deepsky) 7.59
03. Inner Sanctum (featuring Kirsty Hawkshaw) 7.24
04. Nature's Kingdom II (featuring Jenifer McLaren) 5.18

UK Version (2001)

01. Silence (Airscape Edit) 3.48
02. Innocente (Falling In Love) (Lost Witness Radio Edit) 3.33
03. Heaven's Earth (Matt Darey Remix) 8.18
04. Silence (Michael Woods chillout mix) 8.03
05. Terra Firma (Album Version) 5.39

Dutch/Belgium Version (2001)

01. Silence (Dj tiestos in search of sunrise remix) 11.33
02. Innocente (Mr Sams the space between us remix) 10.23
03. Heavens Earth (Matt Darey remix) 8.18
04. Innocente (DJ Tiesto remix) 7.27
05. Silence (Michael Woods Chillout Mix) 8.03
06. Terra Firma (Album Version) 5.39

And to clear things up, the Airscape mix included on the UK version of the bonus disc is an edit of the full Airscape mix which is 8:37 long.

This edit of the airscape mix is also found on the 2000 CD release of 'Silence'

Thanks for answer, Neo.
Yes, I downloaded it, but there was no bonus disc.
I obviously got this version: Poem @ Discogs

It says Airscape Mix over there, but I made this topic mainly because I got confused, the version I downloaded stated it's Album Version Edit.
But obviously we're takling about Airscape Edit.
