Hi people,

hopfully this is the right forum to post in.
I got given sound forge 6.0 pro as a pressie and im running windows 98se.

I've read up the requirements and it says it should be ok to run on 98se.
when i try to install it, it gets to the part where it is extracting the tutorial.cab and says "unknown error, installation will close".

Any ideas what this could be?
oh and I dont want to ask sonic foundry particuly..

*notes- i've tried re-installing and all kinds of shit..

In the event i can't get it to run ever.. what are my options for basic mastering and shit?
im fairly new been using reason round 4 months.
