Behringer DJX052
I have not used this before but might be using it this coming weekend. Any comments? I usually use a Vestax VMC-004.
How is this mixer otherwise?
Well, it has 2 band eq (hi and bass), the bpm counters don't work. I don't own one but I've used it a little bit. If it had 3 band eq it would be decent for a small party.
No offence meant but would everone get the message :
BEHRINGER PRODUCTS ARE TURD
They sound crap, their functions really don't work, they wear out much faster than other brands and they always break.
The only good thing about them is they are dirt cheap and look nice when set on fire
Vestax are in a different league.
You can't compare Behringer with brands like Vestax, Pioneer, Denon, A&H, but they do good mixers for their price range. Look at the VMX200 and VMX300. Preaty much the best mixers in their price range.
you get what you pay for...they're good for a beginner i suppose....

| Originally posted by Stu Cox I disagree with this actually. They've got a lot of features, but if you get a Numark mixer of the same price it'll last twice as long and sound reasonable, would make a good spare mixer if you decide to upgrade as well, where as the chances are with the Behringer when you upgrade instead of it just being to improve your setup, it'll be cos your mixer's just broken. |
I know someone who had a VMX-300 on which the master output died within a year, so I suppose it depends on the luck of the draw... although I think with Behringer you tend to be kind of weighting the odds against yourself
