Hey,
Listening .... Nice Deep Bass, Drums into the background are pretty cool, bass becomes louder and very cool, point+ , great Pads/Strings, extremely athmospherics, kinda New Age, I am digging them alot. Breakdown, ahh I remember this part, very dramatic, kinda like Samuel Barber works, pretty cool, now appears the synths, well mixeds, woo woo very cool the release, it lacks a bit of energy imo, but this tracks it's more like to listen than for to dance, even when it's very danceable .
In overall, superb tune dude, just lacks a bit of energy for me, a 8.5 in my Kopimeter, keep it up mate amazing stuff .
Kopi =o.

Very nice. Good firm kick and the sounds are very cool. I really like those soft percussion in the background, sounds very nice. The breakdown is very well done, very good melodies here and i like the strings. Now for my only critism, when the climax kicks in it is not that energetic imo, one problem here is that the kick is pushed back in the mix, maybe a compression problem. Overall, this is a very strong track, the mix could only be a little better.

thnx for the tips man and critisisms. Any suggestions on how to make the climax a little bit more energetic?

bassline + percussion as usual

variation in the structure, maybe

great energy and effects spread out through the whole song. Synth is nice, nice subtle effects in the background there too

Hey Sebastiaan.

Your kick lacks punch, even on headphones for me.

Bass needs more room and space in the mix.

Nice acid line that keeps coming up, liking the pluck also.

Nice melody mate, i don't think the climax lacks energy, just your kick and bass are weak.

Tune the clap a tiny bit down. Your perc seems a bit chaotic in the main part of the tune, i guess it's because of the overpowering saw synth.

I quite enjoyed this, the melody reminds me on a tune, can't recall the name though hehe.

Good luck

great track. however the main synth sounds very software, especially when the filter isn't completely open

Posted by six senses on May-16-2005 12:00:

Thnx for the reply Luke. Maybe i'll repleace the main synth with an other lead.

Sebastiaan

Good work

had boosted my eq in the high and mid freq area <<--:| nothing wrong with the low freqs

hey mate, this is a really wicked track! the production is really tight, everything sounds so delicate and well-placed. nice melodies and the chord progression in the break is a killer.

regarding the power coming out of the break, my only suggestion is to automate a high-pass eq or filter on the kick drum that does that little roll at 3:46 - increasignly take the bass out of the kick, and then drop it back when the beat comes in. That'll provide some more contrast and power when it all kicks back in.

overall top work man, sounds really pro!
