Sick as a dog

This bloody weather is driving me crazy!

I woke up wednesday sick. I've got the worst cold right now. Wheres the hot, hazy, humid days everyone whines about? I swear I'll punch the first person I hear that says it's too hot.
The forecast says that its not getting any better within the next few days too.

Now I get to spend my day off sittin in my cold house blowing my nose all day

Anyone else feeling under the weather?

Hehe, ull never find me bitching about the heat. I spend 8-9 months of the year just WAITING for the heat to COME BACK to us!

This is my second day in a row calling in sick...and if I didnt have friday off it'd be my third.

I'm feeling much better today, but this cold is making my athsma go absolutly haywire. I ended up in a clinic last night at 11 pm. (Excellent way to spend a saturday night) And the doc gave me some hardcore drugs to calm my lungs down. So again I am home. The last thing my body needs right now is to be running around a warehouse.

Hopefully I'll make it to work tomorrow. (did I actually say that?!)

Glad that you are feeling better! Yes, those drugs used for asthma are strong.

I as well am on asthma drugs and have been since I was little. When I moved to Toronto two years ago it was hard getting use to the air climate.

I've lived here in Mississauga all my life so I guess I can say I'm 'used' to the air.

What triggers asthma for you?

For me its taking part in a fast paced sport (like basketball) or if something makes me cough alot.
