Hello! Uplifting Trance *Keiko* Direct Stream plz Review :).

Hi there,
Finally I did another Trance track, I have been totally focus lately into Produce chill out, but yesterday I felt like to Produce Trance, an area where I am pretty lost, so feedback is very welcome, above all about Buildup. The track it's inspired in Keiko, one beautyful whale we had in Mexico, it's Uplifting Trance, enjoy .
PS. Dont take care about the end, I forgot to Fade it out .
Thanks in advance .

make the bassline continous, more jumpy, like less empty spaces or notes. decrease some mids from the clap,

The progression of the track is good, although the track ends too abrubtly.

What is that synth you used that came in towards the middle of the track ??? , sounds hot, anyhow, add a jumpy synth with stereo expansion to fill up the left/right speakers with a bit of bass to drive the track

more percussion elements panning around, those build up hard sounds you used in the background sound good, what synth is that ?

add delay (and pan the delay left/right) to it and other fx. strings/pads sound good, although decrease not the reveerb amount but its decay.

oi,

i'm on bad speakers, so technical comments aren't gonna happen...i don't really know what to say outside of technical stuff, when it comes to trance, cause i don't really listen to a lotta trance...sounds good, save the bassy synth at the beginning...i don't like the sound choice on that.

maybe i'll post again if i can get my hands on a better system here

first of all I think the clap is too loud..
very cool background fx, love them.
I think you really need to add a lot more percussions, you know..even if you'll add weak and panned and simple "small" percs, and even if they won't be heard when all the elements of the track are playing, it's still good to add them (all the little hihats the shakers etc..)
decrease the high freqs a bit..imo the percussions are too loud compared to the kick+bass.
the piano is nice, didn't like that synth @ 2:44.

is the track's length 4:16?

overall, it's good. keep it up mate

Listening right now
0:01... love the kick
0:27 bassline kicks in really good.. too bad its got a little lack of power.. dont know what it is..
1:23 nice fillers!
3:12 good breakbeat, id say to turn it up a bit.
4:55 oohh just feel that !! great!
5:15 here the breakbeat seems good
6:15 losese some of my interest.. not quite my style
6:24 got my interest back... OMG KOPI
7:06 oyea.. thats what ive been waiting for really good!

for the rest of the song.. loved every second! dont stop making trance !

first impressions of the bassline are not favourable.
from 1:54 this is sounding really good. piano coming in after that sounds really nice. the breakbeat sections work really well, you keep the energy going really well. the chord progression around the 5:00 mark is really sweet! bassline gets heaps better too.
i think some of the synths sound a little plain, they can probably do with a little more attention to fx, eqing and such. they do the job but aren't particularly emotive. i didn't like the synths around 6:13 - they sound 80's and I hate the 80's!
Overall the arrangment works really well, the tune has a really nice structure and flows beautifully. Very nice melodies and chords. This tune kept me interested all the way through. Good work mate, I enjoyed

This sounds like oldschool!
I think the bass sounds too wet in the beginning of the track.
And the scream synth in the second part could be replaced imho.
Where did the outro go?

Nice track!

Artic,
Thnks for the feedback mate, I will use some filters and effects to thre first bar of the bass .

Indeed the synth at 6:14 or so, sounds retro, but it is a good addition in my opinion.
What I didn't like was the next one, at 6:23 or so, the one that kind of screams, but that is just personal preference.

I like that use of panning in your crash effects which by the way, don't hurt ears, if you implemented high frequency limiting, that was the right thing to do.

Yeah mate, you need an outro, this track without an outtro ruins it, at least if you are targeting this track to be played in dj sets, this definately is not dj friendly, even if you are not interested in adding an outtro, the track ends like is being cut add a couple of seconds of silence, let that final crash reverb or delay until it vanishes slowly.

In the technical part, great job, I hear no clipping, no humming, no rumbling, no resonances at any time, you did a great job with the master.

Cheers

LOL, thanks mate, about the outro, PEPP, lol, I posted i forgot to add a fade out!!! Dont forget to read the threads!! :P
Thanks for the feedback dude, I have some wicked ideas for the outro , and I am taking down that synth that no one seemed to like , cheers!
