there are other djs who've been posted here and they dont play trance. just because its a diffrent promoter doesn't mean u cant promot him here. i have no idea about promoters and their politics, just simply spreading the word.
i know this forum is called tranceaddict but come on its not only pure trance that is discussed here, we all talk about edm in general but we still put trance as a priority. and where else can u find like minded people in a forum who know what they are talking about and know whats going on in the scene?.

tranceaddict is for bringing all the edm styles of music together. The more posts about shows the better as it attracts more people to the scence. i think anyways, i'm still fairly new to tranceaddict but in toronto's events calender they have all kinds of edm shows posted for every weekend. just my thoughts though so don't take anything too personally.

no, that is not what i said. i was expanding on what danny said and what was misunderstood by ajaxs. like you said, you dont know the politics of the scene and frankly there are many things i still dont get about it so it would be pointless to try and explain this. all you need to understand is that certain shows get advertised on certain websites and not others, be it for personal music taste reasons or other views

I remember showing the thread about Sasha and Digweed coming out to canada and not vancouver to the promoter and he never replied to my message that I left on Club Vibes along with the link to the thread. I guess them being promoters they don't care much about getting the info out but then again it's Digweed so it should pretty much sellout

i think you guys are forgetting that the vancouver section of this forum is very tiny compared to other means of advertising. Tons of promoters overlook these forums, no need to make a big deal out of it.

the thing with TA is that its not really a place for promoting events, originally, it was just a discussion board. places like clubvibes and clubzone have as their primary purpose to promote events, thats why they are use more by promoters as they reach a bigger audience
