whats with the hate? female djs are coo-_; as long as they dont have that "i have something to proove" mentality. ;x oh so sexy some of them.
The London trance scene has a number of very talented female trance DJs, including Tania Mann, Sophie Sugar, Starlet (aka Lizzie Curious) and Pandora S-K.
i heard some toronto local female djs play; goooooood stuff
-lady bass
-no.frills
Lisa Lashes
'trance'
i was in dj astris's live set and most of it was techno but she played also some trance.
DJ Astrid vs Tommy Pulse - Twinkle
really nice one!
DJ Lucca!
I don't really know many trance female dj's but from the techno scene i can say for example Misstress Barbara, Monika Krse, Gayle San, Miss Kittin (electro), Tania Vulcano (housy)... and they have skills, they are not in the top for their tits!
not many most are mentioned above.....
lottie (house)
and all the hard house dj's
Amber D
Pin Up
Savage etc etc........

Jesslyn!
What I always have with female dj's is that they mostly had a stranded modellingcareer, fucked a well-known dj and became dj through that.
dj daisy lol
no dj rap and lisa lashes are pretty cool
there has been thousands of topics about this
general agreement is that strangely there's very few well known female dj's, and those are mostly very bad musically and only well known due to their looks

Anyone with a brain and a bit of creativity can be a dj or producer, or any other kind of musician, it really makes no differnce whether or not you have tits!

Females who are really producing is rare.
Example: Kenji Ogura feat Melanie di Tria - Kryssage Typ A (& B)....
Melanie di Tria is a female dj who signed at Tracid Traxxx. But Kenji Ogura produced the entire track. It has happened so much that if a female DJ is named in the artistname of a production, that the real producer is, in this case, the male.
Example II: Lashed mixed by Lisa Lashes
You think you're buying a (very good) hardhouse cd mixed by Lisa Lashes. Than you see on the back in tiny characters: Mix produced and engineered by Ingo.
Example III (and the worst): Thunderdome 2004 Anthem - Korsakoff
She is probably the prime example for 'good looks' and 'no talent'. She's pretty popular here in Holland, despite all fuck ups....
How can female dj's can be taken seriously with examples like this. Don't get me wrong, I think Lisa and Melanie are excellent dj's. But....this is a little bit of a shame.
The Technoscene in Europe has a lot of great female dj's. ( good looking also
) Lucca, Miss ladida, Angela Flame, Estroe, Miss Djax, Misstress Barbara, Shiva ect. ect.
