Looking To Buy a VW Jetta/Bora, Anyone Own One? Need Some Owners Feedback...

Currently have a 98 Hona Civic 3dr and looking to upgrade to somethin bigger,with 4 doors.

Im very fond of the VW Jetta, or as its known over here in Europe, the Bora.

Would love a 1.9 TDI 115 BHP model.Second hand of course! Will be starting a new job soon and so want somethin more practical.

This car looks great with some subtle modification.

Just looking to find out some owners advice on the car, its good points, bad points etc.Any info appreciated.

while my friends with VWs havent had any problems with theirs (a golf 1.8t & r32), i've heard theyre notorious for electrical gremlins.

on the upside, theyre quite peppy, especially with a 5-speed and minor add-ons like cold-air intakes or chips.

the new aduti manumatic gearbox they put on new vw's is nice i hear

yeah that DSG box is money i've heard - i dont know which cars in the lineup are gonna get it though

i love how it looks too - VW really got it right this time. you heard any word of a follow-up to the r32?
