Review of Spundae 5/14/05

WOW OH WOW!!!! What a night.

The Heaven crew in the back room blew the roof off the back room last night. Freakin amazing you guys. I think this definitely proves that you should have a monthly residence there.

When I came in, I was catching the end of DJ Raoul's set, very good; high energy! One of my favorites he dropped:

JOOF vs. Christopher Lawrence - Attention

Bob layed down a great set also, very good energy; I noticed by this point the room was packed, everyone having such a great time!

THEN!!!! In comes DJ KRISTINA SKY -

All I have to say is WOW!!!! She had the place going off! Excellent! Couldn't stop dancing; everyone with smiles on their faces! Perfect, thanks Kristina and thanks Spundae for having them there. I really hope this happens often; I cannnot wait to experience that again!

Also, what a blast hanging with the TA's, as ALWAYS!!!

Best time I had at Spundae to date

Raoul - Awesome tunes, laying it nice and thick, Attention was my fav track for sure

Bob - Great job man, nice hanging out with you

Kristina - The best set Ive heard you play to date. You were on your game! Excellent job, crowd eating from your hand. Im impressed!

The night overall was wacky in a fun way hehe.

Main room - Hyper was laying down some great tunes but I was soo drawn to the back room so I didnt pay any time there besides doing a quick lap around the dancefloor for a few minutes at a time.

Amazing night. Haven't ever seen the backroom so packed before. Fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening. When you break it down, its was clubbing at its best. Friendly people having a blast listning to great music.

What a fun night!! Always a good time hanging out with Sweetcandy girl..and KittyCrush.. I would have to say that the back room was pretty amazing!! Raoul, Bob, and Kristina did an awsome job!! But once Donald Glaude came on..( WHY WAS HE SO LATE??) i was in the main room Dancing my ass OFF!!! I think i missed the kissing contest!! I was too busy busting a move on the dance floor!! Danced for 2 hours straight!!~!~ Good times...another great night at spundae!! Thank you to everyone!

Music always kicks booty when the Heaven crew is spinning.

A freeway closure somewhere near Rosecrans is what made Donald Glaude late. Yup, he was on that freeway and apparently got stuck. He finally showed around 2:30 and WOW!!! He brought it on! I guess "better late than never."

No clue. It was one of those contests where they road was more important than the destination. I was one of the judges, mind. Its never easy to figure out which couple gets more flair points for attempting various difficult manuevers.

It was a surreal night. The party was a proper success. The only thing that sucked is that it had to come to an end. What a night. I think I speak for everyone when I say we were all in our primes. Long live debauchery!!! Next time we need to have some nice plush California King beds in one of the rooms for extra-curricular activities.

Great Night For indeed!!

I have not spent that much time in the back room ever at Spundae. Hypersky, Bob and Khristna Sky delived amazing sets!! Wow! The room was packed with smileing dancing faces.

I did check out the main room when Donald was on and WOW!! Everytime!! He has so much energy behind the decks that is for sure.

A big thank you goes out To Spundae for booking Heaven in the back room this weekend. I hope there are more nights like that

Oh be expecting that room to open up very soon at CIRCUS!!! If not open this coming Saturday, it will be ready by next Saturday. It's a total kick ass chill room, pretty much the size of the main dance floor if not bigger.

I will say no more so as not to spoil what is in store!
