IMO Hello strings is quite a pile of over-rated crap. Its probably one of Wests worst tracks. I think its over-hyped to hell, and people should look to his other stuff.
Carrier/Envy are amazing imo. Carrier is the more melodic breaks, where Envy is a bit more bassy. Kinda reminds me of northern exposure tipe stuff. Anyway i think this release is getting over looked. I think im going to order a second copy.
Umm new releases / review forum anyone?
Hello Strings has grown on me, but i still don't really like it.. it's kinda cheesy.
Carrier/Envy = brilliant

Well no I can't move it actually. And I didn't actually take the time to read that it was a comparison of West's works instead of just reviewing the tracks so it's all good with me

Carrier and Envy are a lot better tracks. Yet i don't really find myself listening to those many times. Hello Strings however, is a nice dirty pleasure.
Carrier/Envy - may have been the best vinyl I have ever bought simply because both sides are amazing tracks that stand on their own and could actually be played within the same set (most bang for my buck
)
Hello Strings - I really like this track but having to wait so long for the release and it gettin played so much in the meantime kinda killed the excitement for me.

well i definitely agree that carrier and envy are better tracks. i guess this just goes to show what happens when you sign a tune to a label like armind...it becomes more popular no matter what the quality...
