Yeah that's true I think a cool place like Queen St. or something trendy is where it should be

But Yorkdale is often visited by people from outside of Toronto. I know here in K-W if you want to go to a wicked mall, it's Yorkdale.

Nerds can have their Apple products.

Nothing by them impresses me.

Granted their comps are top notch for graphics and what not. They know how to market, but thats about it.

whats the use of such a store?

will they plan on selling at the exact same price as their online store?

Cause i'm almost sure local retailers sell for less.

Look at the Sony store.

Ridiculously over priced, but people still go.

I go in when I need a good laugh. Time how long it takes for three different clerks to approach you.

2 mins max

Recently they have cut their prices to match Futur shops,... they have no choice because they're shooting themselves in the foot.

For a time, we at Costco were selling Sony TVs cheaper than the Sony stores could buy them from the factories!

They were buying them from us...to sell in thier stores

Classic

lol nice sig Malek

With regards to the apple store...have you ever been to an Apple store...it's not just for "buying" it's a whole concept centre where they have shit loads of computers set up with a whole bunch of different configurations and you can play and test everything...it's pretty amazing. Every time I'm in the states I make a stop at the store just to see what's new.

You guys only think from a functional point of view...you must look beyond

^Very insightful

But like I said originally, they dont impress me.

Seriously... I don't know what all the hype is about the ipod, yeah it's an mp3 player but that's all it is, the design is not very innovative, just plain white, blue, gray, what have you and it doesn't even come with a frickin remote, plus all the peripherals for the damn thing cost an arm and a leg ie the attached speakers, audio stand etc. I own a 20g iRiver and it looks a hundred times better than the iPod, comes with a kick-ass remote but the thing is not everybody knows about iRiver.

I dunno khoa, thats EXACTLY whut i love about the ipod, its very simple, easy design.

that is the ipods biggest selling factor for me. its not over busy looking as i find most mp3 players. its not awkward looking either (as i find most, IMO). even the zen micro i dont think looks nearly as nice at the ipod mini.

theres something in a simple minimalistic elegant design! and then theres the touch pad, LOVE that fuckn circle!!!! so nice to use!
