Scoop - An exclusive news story acquired by luck or initiative before a competitor.
Yeah, I've heard of it, what of it?
i like their "drop it" song.. all their other crap was made to make money.
laters =)
you guys tell me that no one at the other side of the Atlantic ocean has ever heard of scoop?????
I thought internet solved all this kind of problems, but apparantly some things still dont reach america....
well.... scoop comes from Belgium. In the second half of 1999 They scored a huge hit in (western) Europe with their song 'drop it'. Really a nice song I must admit. It gained populatirity at the Love parade for the first time, after that it was released (clip is shot at the loveparade as well).
after that they released a song or two more (for example 'rock the house'). these two are indeed released to make a lot of money (fits in the row DJ Jose and G-spott, dunno if y'all familiar with that, commercial all the way).
I just asked my fellow student this morning if he knew what happened to them (didn't here anything of them since the end of 2000). probably somewhere in some exotic country enjoying there lives.

The old days, when I was naiv and thought DJ Jose, G-spott and other crap rocked

thanks for the info, have you ever heard "sky is the limit". tis mixed by susey solar on her cd the perfect trance and i think its pretty fricking tight
i wish a was in europe right now where there is a culture for trance
YEAH, WELL, you cant have everything, can ya?
Being in a, as you call it, trance culture, isn't all breight and clear either. OK, you have these GREAT parties (cost a lot of money though), but you are also confronted with an enormous amount of wannabee trancerecords (commercial shit). sometimes these records are nice, most of the time you listen to them 3 or 4 times and you trie to avoid them for the rest of the time. what I am trying to say here is that if you dont live in a trancenation, you wont be confronted with bad records, because they never make it to the states
