playing hard to get

does it only work when women do it?

let's just say i'm mildly interested in someone.. i know she's into me, but i'm not quite sure about my feelings yet.. so i'm maintaining a distance at the moment.. but i certainly don't want to push her away or anything. it's just that i don't really know what's going on in a girl's mind if the guy is playing hard to get.. (my feelings are usually very clear, hehe). so does she give up quickly or does it make things even more interesting for her?

ladies, give me your answers!

i'd say don't play too hard...definitely be flirtatious, but not "omg i wanna do you"

girls like a challenge, but they have enough opportunities out there they ain't gonna try too hard...

it's such a waste of time and energy...i mean a little bit of it within the first few weeks or first couple of dates (or TRYING to get those dates) is cool, but anything after that annoys me. it's better to just be yourself and commincate and be confident. people who play hard to get and get really into it and play games even after months are sketchy in my opinion. it's usually a sign of insecurity and confusion...and if that's the case i'm not interested.

the sex part i agree with totally. i meant like head games and not letting a person know where they stand after a certain point can get annoying.

i didn't sleep w/ my bf until like i think around the 3 month mark and we had been spending A LOT of time together and no sex...he was going nuts by the time we did...it was great.
