technics in TO

Hey guys,

I've decided to buy some techs and I've done some shopping around, but I'm sure there are more stores in TO that have techs.

so far I've called/visited:
- Steves Music
- Long and McQuade
- Traxx Records
- Play de Record
- Metro Sound and Music

If you know anyother stores which sell Technics please post their contact info and website here.

Thanks a lot.

1) Use the search.

2) Call Kromer Radio (Bathurst Street) - they are the Technics authorized repair center in Toronto - so they probably sell them as well.

thanks for the speedy response, i'll check them out.

btw, i did use the search, but I didn't find anything... but then again, i didnt search "technics" i just searched "dj gear" and stuff like that.

EDIT: just searched "technics"... found nothing either.

technics... good deal

i have a cousin who works at Long and McQuade - the one in brampton though...

he was just telling me that they have a special: 2 used MK3 tech-12s, with a good stanton mixer (not sure which one) for $999. He told me that they're in great condition - trying to get me to buy it... and i'm surely thinking about it so i can replace mine (not that there's anything wrong with mine - i just like the MK3s better).

so - check it out... ask for darren in the DJ equipm dept.

Thanks for the heads up man.

I just called them now, the guy was surprised that I had heard about it already since they had just put on that special today

cheers,

I have a question... whats the difference between 1210, 1200 MK2, and MK5

I mean, there are some very minor differences, like the "Non-click Pitch Control" and "Digital Pitch Control", and stuff like that... but nothing major, right?

http://www.panasonic.com/consumer_e...pare_analog.asp

I've been staring at that for a while now, and the difference between them is so minor, its almost undistinguishable, unless I missed something...

So the $200-300 price difference between 1210 and 1200 is not worth it, right?
