Anyone going to Matt Darey this weekend?
I haven't been to 1015 in a while, and frankly am not a big fan
of the place...the last time I went 1015, it was so bad I left as soon as we got there...I love Matt Darey though. Is anyone even going this Saturday? Seems like 1015 hasn't done much promoting.
I'm going. Do you know anything about pre-sale tickets?
I haven't seen any presales, but there's an email promo going around for ladies free before midnight, and guest list after 1:30am...none of which help me much. Anyone know if it's ever free before 10:15 or 10:30?
dude i say the exact same thing about 1015...i like some of the hippy fridays there but saturdays and trance nights aren't very fun..
however, i've been waiting to see darey for over 3 yeas so i think i'll roll by....

Not sure why folks don't like 1015. I guess I'll find out - haven't been there yet. I hear a lot of good things though.
I checked- just show up. SF station says it starts at 10 but that's a bit early.

1015 is one of my favorite venues, although I know a lot of people are mad the old booking manager left. Other than that, I don't know what people have against the place.
Well-
after going I can say my only reservations about 1015 was the crowd- I'd be suprised if more than 20% of the people there were even fans of Matt, although there was a psyched core that definitely was.
When you go to something this good (and it was), it kind of sucks being around people who aren't getting it, but let me be the last to ask that these things become closed parties. But I wasn't impressed with the crowd.
All that being said, the crowd is probably a lot better than the posers at Ruby Skye from what I've heard on that topic.

I thought Matt was WAY better last night than he was in December. Yeah, it's true most of the crowd around the back probably doesn't care who is playing, but I had lots of fun with all the people near the DJ booth. And I got one of the Possessed vinyls he handed out 
Matt was awesome, and I had fun with the friends I went with...but the crowd at 1015 in general was just awful. If it wasn't for wanting to see a DJ like Matt that I wanted to see really badly, I'd have no reason to go there ever again.
matt sucked, anyone coulda played the set he played. it was almost all just overplayed tunes... 
the closer after him was way better
i used to like 1015 but now i'm beginning to feel differently. the crowd at darey was fucking retarded. so many fucking dumbass fobs that don't have any respect for other ppl. they'd shove into u countless times without caring at all. and wtf is up with all those fucking old asian men with way younger asian chicks... sometimes makes me feel ashamed i'm the same ethnicity that they are...

I was in town on that weekend, wish I knew about it I would of went, have a feeling it would of been 21+ though
