Important processes on the computer?
what are the processes you have to leave running for minimal operation of windows.
i downloaded some nasty program and everytime i try to delete it is says it's in use and i can't delete it.
my computer went down to a crawl.
format disk and reinstall windows ?
Emmmm you could do that..... or download >Ad Aware< and get rid of it.

could start it in safe-mode
get moveonboot (google for that) allows you to select files to be deleted before windows fully starts. (after a reboot)
Always worked for me

Ad-Aware, my arse. Norton all the way.
That'll slow your machine down hehe, but it don't half get rid of spyware/viruses/gayware.
norton slows down my system, there a resource hog and bloated. I used symantec antivirus + spybot s&d, ms antispyware and 2 firewall: zonealarm and wrt54g
