Kids these days
So they keep getting younger and younger when they're introduced to things they shouldn't be. My neice in grade FIVE!!! had her cousin suspended from school for smoking pot, along with some other friends. They're into cutting themselves, wrists, legs, stomach, you name it. My sister is in shock having these conversations with her daughter in grade 5.
self mutilation in grade 5!? smoking pot!?
they really need to bring carebears back on.
This is why children need a good beating once in a while from a mister L. Slugger. No, wait, that's too obvious. Louisville S.
Okay maybe not.
Yep welcome to reality!!!
If they're not too busy cutting themselves they're sitting in front of some top notch child psychologist getting counselling...WTF IS UP WITH THAT???
My ex's sister grade 7....tried to cut her wrists because she thinks her parents have made her life miserable...and since then she has been seeing some counsellor....if i was her parent I would do her a favour and send her to bootcamp or slit her wrists myself...would NEVER send her to see a child psychologist....HELLOO ITS ABOUT "give me some more attention" some fuckin manipulating behaviour arrrghhh...

Anyone who sells weed to a 5 year old deserves to have a big fat blount shoved deep into their oriface and then lit with a flamethrower !

I never had to deal with EMO until this one came along....oh GOD.
Spare the rod spoil the child. In a country where kids can get their parents arrested for a smack on the bum its no wonder we have these problems.
These loser wimpy punishment systems arent working... the strap always worked for me. In fact the strap was only used twice ever. It was fear of the strap that kept me in line.
Kids need feer instilled in them again.
I don't want a generation of wiggers and chavs.

respect to my parents.
Not saying smoking up when ur 7 is a-ok, but my curiosity demands that I ask when yall think it's okay to smoke weed then? when you're 10? 12? or only when you're 16?

As sad as that is, it is all too common these days...there was a lady I worked with that had her 12yr son admitted to the hospital for huffing....kids these days have no fear.....and think that they are invincible...

is Kelly having kids????
ummmm HELLZ NO!!!!
This thread is exactly why I don't want kids....EVER!!!!!

With they way society, education, and parenting are these days, can you really be surprised. Number one, where the f*** are the parents? Instead of taking active, participating, and sharing roles in their childrens lives, they complain at how hard it is to discipline and teach a child. NO SHIT, IT TAKES ACTUAL EFFORT. Number two, the education system seems to find more and more ways of rewarding mediocrity and failure. No no, it's ok Timmy, it's not your fault you're dumb, just go play with the silly-putty. Seems everyone is terribly concerned with child psychology and safety, and whatnot. You know what, kids are kids. They need constant attention, and ESPECIALLY in their pre-teen years must be taught the concept of action and repercussion. I'm not propagating child-abusive behaiviour, but it just seems that the 'good old days' of parenting have gone, only to be replaced by communal mentality tought by schools, as well as any other number of socially accepted, but ineffective methods that ultimately are designed to be EASIER to implement.
