NURBS and other stuff

I've been playing around with 3ds max 6 for about a year. I've progressed a lot (I think). I'm now getting into NURBS now that I have some free time. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that could help me?

I wonder how many cor whores even know what a NURBS is worth a try anyway

if you've ever taken a sphere, gone edit mesh, and screwed with the vertices, its very similar at first except instead of creating points, it creates a curve....

you have me on aim so if you need help just drop me an IM

A couple of links. Hope they are helpful.

-Has some tutorials, I havn't tried them all, but I did use the face one for a project at school.
It turned out like this: click

The other tutorials, I would imagine to be helpful.

If you run into a fix, post here: http://www.cgtalk.com
They seem to be helpful even if you are unknowledgable, and don't ridicule 'dumb' questions.
