Vst Effects (sends/returns???)

guys i'd appreciate the help so much if you can stear me in the right direction:

isn't it possible to make vst/direct x plugins appear in your sends/return in cubase sx???

i'm using a few waves plugins, (such as the c4, ir1 reverb)

if i create an fx channel i can see them, but it'd be way more convieniant being able to use them at ease in the sends/returns

thanks!!!

As long as you're trying to select VSTs on inserts / sends on audio tracks, there shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps you're trying to select them on MIDI tracks? And once you've created an FX track, you'll be able to select those tracks as sends. Hope this helps.

Well the c4 shouldn't be used as a send effect anyway. It's place is in the master channel's insert fx rack.

As for putting fx in the send tray, you need to create your send fx rack first. I think you hit F6 (it will be under devices --> send fx). Once you have put them in the rack, they will appear on all audio channel fx sends.

somehow you got confused here. fx channels are sends/returns. my guess is that they are created as fx channels because that way you can use a chain of effects as a send effect.
create a synth in your synth rack, create an fx channel, open the audio synth channel (not midi channel) and select your wanted fx channel in your sends selector - but my guess is that you already know that.
