WTF is Sweden up to?!

So, the swedish PM now said that he want to legislate against sexist pictures in media/commercials/ads etc, but he dont want to stop at sexist pictures, but he also want to legislate against sexist language!!! WTF

WHAT THE FUCK! I just lost a lot of my faith of my country! Im moving to denmark

I really hope parliament knows better than approving such a stupid idea!

Not that i care that you wont have those pics anymore, but what the hell, they are seriously taking the fight against sexist disrimination waaaay too far!

Who knows, next thing they might be legislating against might be animal sex!

Norway do have hot chicks, i donno if they are hotter than swedes tho, pretty much the same imo...

but the best thing is since the supply of good looking girls are much higher compared to demamand than in most other countries, it also makes the girls easier to get and less bitchy

we have this thing called 'russ' in norway, where the seniors of high school put on red pants for two weeks and drink... its basically a 2 week long alcohol orgy.. we just finished it, and u have no idea how many hot chicks there really are before u attend one of the gatherings that includes the whole country... www.russ.no for pics

Hehe yeah i know what you mean! Same thing as when you go to a concert or something, and its only ppl in your age there. so many hot chicks. Or graduation in sweden is pretty cool too, most of the chicks dressed in white, which usually makes them look even hotter

this is like a good two weeks, so its insane... last weekend i was drunk for 5 days.. friday till tuesday one fun thing is that everybody get in groups and either make their own bus or van, and me and my mate crashed this all girls bus.... that was fun, 25 drop dead georgous chicks

nah but how is norway?are people cool?and the life there?

i love oslo, even tho its only half a million ppl who live there. we have great restaurants, some cool clubs, hip hop & rnb seems to be the big thing now. the trance scene is rather small, it kinda died in 2001, but its slowly building itself up again. most guys in oslo are kinda hot, lol :P, they dress nice with blazers and shirts when they go out on the town. especially the ones from oslo west. pm me if u want to know more..

While it would be easy to lay the blame entirely on the fact that Sweden seemingly is a country in love with prohibition and war against fun, I think that a very important reason for these happenings is that the current holders of power in Sweden are the Social Democratic party. The nordic branches of the Social Democrats (maybe even including those in Germany) have evolved/degenerated into an utterly insignificant part of modern politics, having had all their important tenets implemented. To fill the void, and maybe instigated by their previous successes, they have adopted an extreme adherence to political correctness - often mistaking their own views for the only allowable ones. In Denmark we have punished them severely for this, but the Swedes are plausibly too conservative in their thinking to oust a party (and primeminister) which has been in power for so long.

You don't want to move to the Netherlands. I've been there several times (all over the place) and have a friend who's been living there for some five years, and let me tell you: The Dutch are not liberal - they're indifferent. It's a bad environment for someone who cares so deeply about the rest of the world as you seem to do.

True, swedes are way to conservative, and very snowed in, even though they like to think they are not, and also they like to critizise others for beeing so.

And the S-V-MP coalition will defenetly be voted out in the election next fall, people are waking up the right coalition seems to have about a 5% lead to the lefts right now

euthanasia is actually illegal, but they do not prosecute doctors who perform it. (just did a report on it :P) prostitution is also legal in norway, and if norway isn't a conservative country try to smoke anywhere inside here :P
But yeah, they are liberal if you put USA as the normal, but to European standards they're not that liberal.

true, but i still have a hard time thinking about a government that is more liberal. and yeah, north america is another story entirly, i live in canada right now, which is supposedly more liberal than the US, but its fucking insanly conservative still even compared to sweden which is one of the least liberal countries in europe!
