-- I had to give this advice:

Unhappy

Don't throw water balloons out a dorm window and hit people, cause you will get in trouble eventually. It seems to be more serious than it sounds tho, so just trust me on this one. Throw water balloons at trees or something. Peace.

Any one else have some advice to give? Man am I in some deep shit.......

Shame / Disagreement

LoL...this reminds of when I was in High school..me and my buddies used to go to my friends apartment on park avenune in NYC, he lived on like the 14th floor.. and we used to turn off all the lights..and grab a whole shit load of toilet paper..this is what we did with them..took about 15 sheets..rolled them up in to a ball and soaked them in water..and then try to hit people on the street with the wet paper balls...HAHA... it was some funny shit..when it hits someone..the ball just splatters all over their hair and it was hilarious!

ahhhh...the good old dayzzzz....

Biz..do u go to U of MIchigan?

lates...

Smile wow

That is a good idea. Clever yet safe. Although it's safe to say that I won't be throwing anything out any windows from now on. Yep I am quite the Wolverine. Why do you ask? Peace.

Drunk

Don't let your aggression out by throwing the following out the window or down the hallway: chair(s), lamp, CPU, TV, mattress, nightstand, stereo set, shoes, clothing, etc.. My friend had a serious fit one day over an arguement w/ her boyfriend and wasnt able to control herself. To this day I still dont know what compelled her to react that way.

Talking hahaa=)

all of those were funny man, waayy back in the day, me and my bro got in this boat that was under our garage, (which is right next to the raod) and the boat had like a little trapdoor in the front, so we loaded it up with water ballons and waited for a car to come by, then one came by pretty fast. so we decided to bomb it,
it so happens the car was going fast enough for the water balloon to shatter the window to the car, and then soaking wet , steps out my english teacher...

this was very uncool, learn from your mistakes man, haha and if any of you fiends are still practicing the arts of throwing various items at moving vehicles, think twice before you throw man...

well dats my advice...

peace

I'm sorry, but after 3 years of going to frat parties and house parties I say fuck that. If I really wanna go party I'll go to a rave or a club where the music is actually decent. Heh besides I bet you got it a million times better at ann arbor then here. Pittsburgh is almost as bad as Cleveland cept it's a little closer to civilization

Posted by biznology on Feb-09-2001 03:22:

yes frat parties are largely overrated - and yes i try to go to Motor as much as possible, but at MSU they have quality(these kids have talent) prog house/trance djs spinning at the FRAT PARTIES! its very bizarre, but very tight at the same time. honestly, a great place to be would be the University of Colorado, but I grew up there, so I kinda need to be somewhere else. Raves and whatever else you could want - and its sunny, damn i miss the sun haha. peace.

Posted by occrider on Feb-09-2001 20:54:

wow

WHAT?????? DJ's spinning house and trance at frat parties?? FRAT PARTIES???????? Oh my god that is utterly rediculous. Oh my god that would be utterly awesome. Who woulda thought that frat guys would have decent tastes in music? I am a frat guy by the way but if we tried that here the dance floor would clear out in about 3 seconds.

Posted by BuzzDC4life on Feb-09-2001 21:45:

Uhng?! I just cant picture anything of that sort happenning @ frat parties. Mabye its just my stereotypic views. Thinking back 2-3 yrs ago, I was almost convinced into pledging for one. But I wouldve eventually given up my loyalty to become the happy go-lucky individual I am today. If not, I'd be devoted to beer beer beer (yeck..), male bonding, scr3wing anything on two (or more..) legs since Im too hammered to notice almost 24/7 =P. Sorry about being so harsh guys. Yeah, most fraternities arent actually (?) like that. Though I totally agree w/ occrider.

Yes I would have to say that whatever house that is up in Lansing would be the complete exception. It was GOING OFF! and everyone was into it. I have seen so many frat parties die cause of a dj playing this type of music, so it may be those people that come to it that keep it alive. Honestly tho, some of those kids spinning were throwing the best sets I have EVER danced to. So much energy. It was more house, cause trance confuses frat party people when everything slows down - how do they keep humping with no bass?!?! but whatever it always keeps me looking forward to MSU. peace.

Im in a faternity at ucla and we always get a trance and a hip hop dj at all our parties. We had an all night party last quarter and just played trance and progressive house.

Man I am in such the wrong school. We usually go through the standard rotation of Brittany Spears, Christina Aguilera, Aqua, Vengaboys, Eminem, etc. You know, find the most commercial shit ever and play that song at every party. I'm sorry but even hearing a 'Time to Burn' at one of the parties around here would be a blessing.

I know this topic is kind of old, but it fits into this category well. About a month ago, a frat here on campus (U of Wisc - Madison) flew in Mr. Paul Oakenfold to spin at their house party. Kind of scary huh?
