Party Update: how about the 29th instead?

As it would be the 28th is not looking like the ideal date for me to throw a party, the 29th would work a lot better.
I know this could cause problems for some, so I'm setting up a poll here to try to gauge what to do.
While it's not out of the question to keep the party on the 28th, it would not be able to go on late. So it would start early, but its a BBQ so its all good, and end early.

so vote or voice your concern now cuz i will decide no later than tuesday night what to do.

yeah man, alot better, I come home from Fort Lauderdale, and probably have to work, but I be there for after hrs

Omg.. i made a big deal to get memorial weekend off so I can go to the party but I would have to work on MEMORIAL DAY!

So if u move the party to sunday I wouldn't even go cuz i have to open monday morning!

But if everyone else wants it on sunday then go ahead but then its a no go for me.

Edit: Most of us are renting a room close to ur house so we can After party at the hotel haha.. So if it doesnt go late then thats not a problem.. But this is just my opinion.

how late is not that late?

I would rather see it stay on the 28th, a lot us us ATL TA's will have a hard time getting back to ATL by Monday if its changed. But I would like to know how "late" late is. Are we talking 10 o clock at night? 2 in the morning?

but Mel made a good point, hotel afterparty... hmmmmmmm

also look, its not like it's gotta be afterhours to have a good time, just come early and we'll get the festivities started.

I know of at least four people who are planning to get seperate rooms at the same hotel right now. I am sure there are more. We could most definatly pull off an after party

Well as far as I know .. I'm going saturday no matter what because we already got our room and I have the weekend off.

i think a lot of ppl made plans for the 28th,especially ppl from mia and atl,i say 28th

This is all james fault, bad idea to put it on Sat, I think we should party from sat into mon, yeah bitch

i voted on sunday, b/c im not working monday, but since i have to work all day sunday, im not sure if ill go or not. of course this will be my last chance to see many of the florida peeps before i move to atlanta (june 16) so we shall see........

just a suggestion.... why dont you have a party on both days? just have a party weekend at james house? get ppl from out of town to bring air matresses, etc... have a big slumber party/memorial WEEKEND party... instead of just one night..... just an idea.....

Doesn't matter for me. I get out one hour earlier from work on 29-th though.

some people want to go to sleep dish instead of party it up with the cooooolest ta's around

i dont see what the big deal with deep dish is....big ta parties happen like what 2 MAYBE 3 times a year. deep dish is at space ALLLLL the fucking time. come on people. ta party > deep dish

anyway...i vote for keeping it the same day. if its moved it'll make things a lot harder for me. and i dont mind the fact that we might have to close things out early, cuz hotel afterparties have always kicked my ass.

You know how many wanna-be's are gonna b there for Deep Dish?!?! .. besides, I bet all the hip hoppers will jump into space and make it their night.. that weekend is dangerous as far as a 20 MILE radius from SoBe.. Im getting the f*ck out of here no matter what.. Gainsville, Jax, Orlando, Naples.. wherever but not SoBe.. feck it! ..

and OH.. I say Saturday.. I mean, is not like everyone will dance anyways ( only 3 ppl danced the party last year heh ) .. so after-hang out at the place in the hotel sounds fun.. bring some Bitches and Stripers, thats all the fun for guys and the swinger girls.

ok...I love deep dish, but I love more to be with you guys. Seeing deep dish was only a tentative plan, but once I learned of the party I had changed my mind. I would hate for mel to not be able to come, and Im sure many others wouldnt be able to attend if its on sunday. I say keep it saturday.

so since it cant go for very late James let everyone know what time we can arrive.
