Spectrasonics Atmosphere
Hi, i just bought Atmosphere on internet auction. Its on 6CD, and looks just like orignal, so i think it's not pirated:] But i have problem with installation. When this 3gb data file is copying from 5cd its stops, and after 15 minutes i've got error.
It says something about unknown operation.
Anybody knows how i can install it?
post the error msg ..
error mesage says "Unknown Error Occured" ...
Excact same thng happened here a few days ago. I just gave the disk a really good clean make sure the previous install was compleatly removed and then on the forth try it worked perfectly. strange just keep trying
wait atleast 20 seconds before u press OK, after inserting each CD..
My cd's are perfect clean. And i waited 30 sec before ejecting,30 sec before inserting, and 30 sec before pressing ok and.... same thing
I forgot to mention: sometimes when i ejecting cd i've got a 'wrong disc inserted' error.
try making iso's of the cd's and then using Daemon or Alcohol 120% to mount the images as you install...this will indicate or remove any reading problems from the disks.
I have Win XP SP1. And i also made a ISO's from CD's, but got the same. However when i mount ISO in Daemon i got 'Wrong disk inserted' error after ejecting 1 CD, and in Alcohol after ejecting 4 Cd...
yep..there's an cd error 100%.i'm not sure that the copies where made properlly...try,as Limit says, creating an image of your cd.
are you sure these are legit copies?? and not pirate copies? if they are then maybe the dude that scammed you or the ones you downloaded(lol) are mixed up and you are putting the wrong disks in...try using the other disks when you get wrong disk inserted.
Im sure its original copy
Someone tell me that i must turn off all programs running, so i must try this... But tommorow, im tired of spending all day, trying install this f0king Atmosphere

That is why I have never trusted ebay for buying second hand products....
That happened to me actually when i install atmosphere.
After i think the 3rd cd it just gave me an error which pissed me off cuz it takes like an hr to install.
I just kept trying and it finally worked.

Another wasted day, spent on trying install this crap
I dont belive is only matter of luck. Soemthing is wrong, and im sure it can be fixed. Dunno how, but sending CD's to Spectrasonics is extremity.

I have heard about people trying to install the pirate version of Atmos and it failing on CD5
Are the disks printed?. If so, how good is the print? Just a possibility to your problem.
Hope you get it sorted
I had no problems what so ever installing my Pirated versions of Atmosphere....lol.
Im just emailed technical support with my problem. Is there any 1 who had same problem?
First off, are the CDs you received from the auction CD-Rs or are they the original, pressed CDs that come with the retail Atmosphere?
Secondly, I would do as others have suggested and make ISOs of all 6 Atmosphere CDs, then mount them using Daemon tools and try the install that way. See if CD 5 will even be read fully to create an ISO. A real quick way and my favorite method to make an ISO is grab UltraISO, open it up, and just hit F5. A little window appears asking where you want the ISO to go. Hit create and you'll have the ISO in no time.
Ask your money back from the guy that sold it to you or demand a new CD.
