I need Mac 8.1 VST software!!

I have looked everywhere and I cannot find any (including the search on TA). My "friend" that I was living with pawned my turntables and my laptop before kicking me out. Thus leaving me with only my Mac Power Pc (OS 8.1) and my MIDI decks (keyboard, synth mods, mixer, Tinker Saw etc...) All I really care about right now is being able to make music again. (playing the world's smallest violin in the background). If anybody knows of any Mac 8.1 VST/MIDI software (hopefully free!) I would be really grateful, thanks.
