Am I getting close? (need feedback)

Just half-finished a remix of a tune a friend of mine did. And I need all sorts of feedback for it ;D (the name of the tune IS childish, but that's his problem).

Note, this is the first time I've used compressors for every sound, and I really concentrated on the mix-levels, so I need some extra feedback on that.

Its not sounding too bad. Not a fan of the shaker and cowbell, but the highhat is pretty original sounding.

Bassline is kinda cool. I've heard that somewhere before though.

Try fading your leads in. Makes it sound more... er... trancey...

The synth programming isnt too bad actually, but I think you need to choose sounds which dont clash so much.

The arpeggio at 2.23 just sounds wrong. Kill it for sure. It picks up a bit at 3.50. This is sounding a lot better than the intro but it comes on really suddenly.

Fairly standard stuff and lacks polish, but your on the right track. Keep at it
