CDJ-800 Lowest Price
What is the lowest price for a CDJ-800 have you found online? So far the lowest I saw was $463.78 @ ParkAveElectronics. I haven't checked agiprodj yet.
i would highly recommend that you consult the list of authorized dealers so you dont run into any problems. there is a list at the pio website
http://www.pioneerprodj.com/
with that said, i just ordered a pair of 1000s today.. having gone through the entire list and talked to every store. most stores will go down from the MAP. and i got a very good deal with midweststereo. they are very nice over the phone and the girl i talked to acutally knew about music... not just a saleswoman.
remember that prices can easily be inflated in the shipping cost, so take that into consideration. also make sure you are buying a brand new one, if the price is too good to be true, it probably is. chances are that you are getting a refurb, used, demo, or b-stock product.
Got mine brand new on eBay, a pair for $850 USD... thought of buying one more (But have decided to buy a CDJ1000 instead), lowest I've seen for a single is $450, again, on eBay...
Here's the lowest I've seen from an authorized dealer:
DIRT CHEAP
You'll have to enter your e-mail address and then they'll send the price to you. Last time I did it, the price was $479. Guitar Center wouldn't price-match that for me because it was so low.
Most likely they can't post the price on their site because it is below Pioneer's M.A.P.
EDIT: NM, just checked Pioneer's UNAUTH'D dealer list and World Market is on it.
Please disregard the idiocy of my post.
definitely buy new, i've learned my lesson about buying dj equipment from ebay. damn audiophile.
I was quoted a price of $478 from AGI. I highly recommend them due to their excellent customer service. I'd stay clear of the sketchy NYC places...
So im looking at the cdj 800 and 200, and it seems the 200 has more features then the 800, there a difference between these 2 to get one of the other?
Use this book as a refrence guide for CDJ comparisons:

just print out what you got from parkave and pricematch it to guitarcenter. that is what i did and i got my cdj800 for 463$
But Guitarcenter staff told me more then once that they will only price match to authorized dealers.
djmart mentions ebay on their negotiation pages so its worth a try. but even they could not match the price i got at midwest stereo
Looks like midweststereo sells CDJ-800s for $649.99 which is $186 more then what Park Avenue has it for, unless I missing some kind of discount.
there is a 100 dollar rebate or free pair of headphones right there on the bottom.
i got a good discount on my 1000s... they may have an overstock or soemthing. it wouldnt hurt to call or email them to see what they say.

i cant believe i even though about getting a 200 to save money, cause the 800 is well worth it to me

| Originally posted by DjJade haha yea... didnt even read that one. owell, most places never really keep their websites updated which is why i said to call. i had the best luck calling becuase you cant really get past map prices [i think] on the internet anyway...from authorized dealers atleast. |

agreed, djmart is the first place i look. their prices are generally the best, and their online live staff is very "nice" as they never fail to mention hehe
only way to take full advantage of their system is to really do your research. like i said, there is a list of authroized dealers. use it to your advantage.
