TA CORe vs. SA GBS - Who would win the fight?

In a "real fight" sense... of course, we'd own them. Most of the SA goons are either rpg/anime freaks, or they're just straight-up nerdy. (I make this generalization having met at least a dozen goons through a semi-dork that I know who has been posting on SA for years.)

In a "let's do the Internet flame war thing" sense, though, I'm not sure as to who would pervail. Thoughts?

NOTE: I am not suggesting that we declare war on SA. That would be a bad, bad idea. It's a hypothetical question in every sense of the term.

The forums there have perhaps the most devoted users you'll find on an Internet forum. Period. "GBS" is the "general bullshit" forum, where most of the hardcore "goons" (SA posters) hang out.

Ninja Edit: SA goons are responsible for most of the uber-popular image macros you see on Internet forums in general, including TA.

SA goons are perhaps a bit more persistent but they're also probably a bit more predictable and, therefore, exploitable. If TA got good participation from the few people around here who can actually string together a few words without making a complete fool out of themselves, it would be a foregone conclusion...

The people who post on GBS are smarter, funnier and many times more numerous than the people on the COR, so I don't think it would be much of a contest. I think FYAD might more closely match the intellectual level of this place.

I'm not sure I'd agree with that assessment. As a semi-professional troll a while back SA was recommended to me too many times to ignore, but every time I've trolled - er, uh, "posted" in the GBS I've found nothing but lightweights and posers, and the only thing funny about them was the sort of pathetic desperation with which they tried to cling to whatever meager dignity they ever had.

As far as I can tell the only reason that posts there are generally less stupid is because the moderation is generally more strict. As a result people there put more effort into feigning some level of intelligence. But in an argument that image disintegrates the moment they become flustered, which is to say, the first time you bother to respond to any of their inane comments.

Or at least that was my experience, although I must concede that many other respectable individuals have reported vastly different observations.
