WARNING: Serato Scratch Live 1.4 problem

Hey guys, was browsing www.skratchworx.com and found this.

So there you have it.

I kinda thought it was fake or something, but then found this:

I did a search and couldn't find this posted, so people beware, don't want a bunch of people breaking there gear.

EDIT: This was a BETA release, so hopefully not many people will of installed it.

EDIT2: Just read up that not many people have been affected by this, only like 4, but its still best to know, also there has been another BETA released that fixes the problem, but if you end up having the problem, contact Rane and chances are they will fix it and send it back free of change, Rane are good guys

this also only affected macs.. wasnt all that big of a deal.. only 4 people.. new beta will be out soon that is fine.. i have it now, they r just not releasing it till they r 100% sure

1.4 is a very nice step up.. ssl is really shaping up into a beautiful system

Thanks for the heads up! I am running 1.3 on a PowerBook G4... I'm gonna wait until 1.4 goes "gold".

Rane have been excellent thus far in my experiences... glad I got SSL over FS.
